Hello members
i have a 2001 3.2 DiD Pajero and i have an oil leak coming from the front of the engine and now they suspect that it is coming from the timing chain cover, the mechanic also says that the timing chain cover wears away causing the leak and that this is a common problem on my model Pajero.
1) can anyone out there please confirm this and would it result in a leak?
2) if the timing chain cover is replaced does the crank pulley seal also need to be replaced?
3) anyone else got any ideas where the leak could be coming from, it is definitely on the passenger side of the vehicle
