Hi All,
We are in Centurion and pretty much enjoy the outdoors. I am not much of a talker but happy to contribute if I can be useful. Always keen to read and learn and share any knowledge, experience and humble opinion. We are keen on acquiring a swb Pajero and would like to gain insight etc to make as best a choice as I can.
thanks, happy long weekebd to all.
Welcome wolfx, you should enjoy it here. We are a quiet bunch but we love our Pajero's. What is your budget for a SWB?

Thanks Kurt,
Probably looking in the region of R100k but things would be dependant on the right vehicle finding us. We are keen on the 2nd Gen models with the straighter lines, box/sqaure shape. ....or the 3rd Gen. (it is still early days in our consideration and it is my perception that 3rd Gen are more available, but I am humbly ignorant at this point)
Biggest criteria is mechanically sound and reliable to confidently hit remote gravel roads on our own (ie. single vehicle trips) etc.

If you go Gen2 then make sure its the "Blister Fender" or Gen2.5,as they call it. That model has the rear diff-lock as standard. Happy shopping.
