Hello from France.
I'm David, currently 44 years old, living in south of France. Another IT guy.
I bought a Gen3 (2001) SWB V6 3.5L Pajero in the end of 2015 in order to have a "can go anywhere" (rain, snow, sand, etc) car with four seats.
My other car are a Smart Fortwo, a Smart Roadster and a Volvo C303 (currently sleeping in a barn, waiting for summer to be worked on).
And a 2-seats Lexus RX400H as company car...
I'm very happy with my Paj'. I don't drive it a lot but it does do its job (either 800km of highway, going to the ski resorts with no need for tires chains or climbing to the "Tunnel du Parpaillon" (google it).
I registered here because it seems lively and full of good advices (actually, the auto-gearbox lockup threads that got me here).
