White Smoke
Hi Guys

Pajero was in to have timing chain replaced after it snapped. Valves. etc was done.

When the started it it would blow out white smoke when revving the engine. Suspect oil seals on turbo.

Now the car have been standing from the 6th of Jan (over 5 weeks) and the car is old so I would think that if the seals are worn some oil would seep through. Will a good run not clear the oil? Could it cause any damage? The Pajero did not smoke before, but not sure if the seals could harden while standing....

I don't have money to recon the turbo right now. Any idea what a recon of a turbo would cost?
Re: White Smoke
White smoke is often as a result of coolant (anti freeze) that gets burned inside a cylinder. Are you loosing water? Did something go wrong with the work done on the head? Did you use a reputable machanic?
