Recommendations for new shocks
Hi All,

I happily own a 2010 Mitusbishi Pajero sport 3.2 DiD A/T and am planning to replace my shocks soon - sitting at around 225 000KM on the clock, bought the vehicle at 145 000KM, she feels a little wobbly around the corners. Doesn't look like there's any damage or leakage on the shocks though, but I'd say it's time. I don't need fancy off road super shocks, whatever works for the daily commute/weekend warrior/gravel roads/light 4x4/the odd trip to Kgalagadi.

Any suggestions for replacements (bear in mind I'm on a budget :) ) would be awesome. Want to get some ideas before asking around in the shops - don't trust the Supaquicks as much as I wish I could to give me an honest opinion/recommendation.

Thanks:).
Re: Recommendations for new shocks
Read the topic “Ride quality on the Pajero”.
No real solutions have been contributed. Maybe it is a state secret ;-)
I am of the opinion that many of the pajero problems is caused by the poor ride quality caused by the suspension setup.
And Mitsibushi is deaf and silent on this topic :-(
Please share your experiences once you have replaced your system.

Recommendations for new shocks
I would suggest the best value for money is the standard KYB shocks. Mine lasted close to 200k kms.

Not sure about the suspension problems you are referring to - personally it's one of the best and most stable vehicles on gravel I've ever driven. On road it drives like a sedan.

My biggest gripe would be the limited travel on the font wheels for offroading - but that's the tradeoff for having more road car like suspension. Which is fine given the car spends 90% + on the road.
