Dear Fellow Members
Sunroof - 2014 LWB Pajero
There is an intermittent problem whereby my sunroof wont close properly - it appears that, when closing, something is preventing the front of the sunroof from going all the way forward and this means that the rear of the sunroof is unable to lift into place flush with the top of the vehicle roof.
Has anyone had a similar problem and/or does anyone know of a fix?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Greetings.
This is a new one to me.
Just asking, did you at any time disconnect your battery, as it might be a reset in the memory.
Does the roof still open all the way backwards?
It could just be a simple reprogramming of the settings.
Would be interesting to hear if you take it to the agents what they say.
If for any reason it is the motor, let me know as I have a complete frame, minus the glass section, with the motor complete, but I very much doubt it is that.
I think it is a simple reset, or a relay that is faulty.
Thank you
Wayne

Agree with Wayne. Mine has the nasty habit of loosing its screws, and then I have to rebolt it and reset the closing cycle. A bit of trial and error.

Mine did the same thing. Low at the back by about 15mm when closed. I think the roof motor has “forgotten” where it is and needs to find its stops. Here’s how.
1) ignition on, sunroof closed
2) fully open the roof by the normal way.
3) once the roof is fully open and stopped hold the switch in the open position again and keep it there.
4) the roof should now slide back a further 40/50mm, stop and then return forward some 30mm.
5) let the switch go.
6) close the roof in the normal way and the roof should now close in the level position front and back.
You can make fine adjustments to the level on the securing screws BUT do NOT activate the roof with the glass removed.
