Fuel in Engine oil
I use a 2019 3.2 L Pajero with 50500 on the clock
Over the last 1 1/2 year the engine oil level rise about 11 mm in about 10000 Km.
Does anyone have this problem before??
I think it will be expansive to find this problem, in industrial diesel repairs you can put a dye color into the fuel filter and let it run, to trace it with a black light.
Is this possible with a Pajero??
Re: Fuel in Engine oil
There really is only one place the diesel can come from, and that is from the injectors. There is unfortunately nothing good about this scenario. The excess diesel can pool on a piston and cause heat damage there. It will "wash" the oil off the cylinder wall as it makes its way down the cylinder wall to the sump. This reduces the lubrication on that wall. Diesel accumulation in the sump oil will also negatively affect the oil quality.

Thank you Roelf for your replay.
Do you think the fuel injector pump could have a leaking seal into the distribution area??
