I have a 2020 PAJERO LWB with 35,000 km on the clock. When I brake at speed 100-120km I get a slight shudder on the steering wheel. What could be the cause of this ?
Hi John. Probably the brakes that need skimming. If you ever decide to put on new brakepads and discs, consider powerbrakes. No shudder
I have also learnt over the years to skim both front and BACK discs to get rid of the shudder. I read this advice on the Australian forum and it solved my problem.
I am a new member to the group, also a first time Pajero owner. Bought a 2015 LWB di GLS Exceed 171000km on the clock. Took it back on Saturday for the same reason, break shudder. I hope they can resolve it. They also suggested to do the skimming of the disks.

so, if they skim the disks they should replace the old pads as well, irrespective of their thread? Correct

Skim front and back discs, I found this out the hard way. It makes a huge difference.
