My ABS and traction control warning lights remain lit after starting and running the engine. I recall that this might be indicative of a faulty alternator, but I have checked and it seems to be providing ample charge back to the battery. Is there any other area which I can look which might be affecting this. Thanks, any feedback will be appreciated.
Hi Malcolm,
I have a 3.8V6 2008 model who had the same problem.
I just clean the sensors(front and rear brake ABS sensors) with electro cleaner, lots of dirt and carbon and it seems to do the job, stays off after starting and it is quite a while now.
Just be careful they can be stucked so spray with WD40 and leave overnight.
The sensors is quite pricy to replaced.
Hope it is of some guidance.
Enjoy your Pajero!

I removed the MAP sensor and cleaned it, as well as the rubber pipe to the manifold. The lights are now off so I hopefully have sorted the problem.
Thanks.
Thanks.
