Since my head gaskets decided to perish just as I came into some money, I decided to replace the belts at the same time along with a list of other parts.
Funny thing is, the agent's pricing on the belts was less than those of the after-market replacements.

That looks about the same as the quote I got - R4400 inclusive of labour.

The above quote was for parts only - I had the work done elsewhere @ +/-R4000-00 (timing belt, pulleys, tensioners and valve stem seals). It was the valve seals that pushed the price up - they did it without removing the heads, which is what I required.
