I have the same problem that Zooby described as follows:
However, as soon as I select R or D, the revs drop to about 550rpm and the engine runs a bit rough and feels like it wants to stop. It sounds like it is missing and makes a surging/rocking/pulsing kind of movement forwards or backwards depending on which gear is selected.
. Further more at totally unexpected times while crawling in traffic or slowing down for a dead stop say at a traffic light, I sometimes get surprised by a short surge of increased idle speed resulting in the car jumping forward and requiring me to push harder on the brake pedal.
Has anyone got to the bottom of this problem yet? How can one adjust the base idling speed or is it all in the pump calibration?

Hi there,
I had same problem as well with my 4M40 electronic fuel pump after I changed it. Theen, the mechanic change another fuel pump for me and the problem solved.

However, I got new headache now. Whenever the engine is cold, I need to press the pedal harder in order for the car to move. Otherwise it seems like the engine did not get enough fuel and it like lacking.

Anybody face the same problem before? Please help.

Hi my friend, the problem is a command that sends the air conditioner being held by three buttons on the central console resides Dashboard, direction button fan speed, temperature, and wind condition.
No. conditioner resides within this unit and sends voltage to rise column injector pump to compensate for the compressor of the air conditioner, which lowers engine revolutions when connecting. When the air conditioner thermostat reaches the desired destination, disconnect the compressor, and the command is stopped. Here we go TOPIC computer stability conditioner when the command is not stabilized, due to one of the problems, such as unstable voltage, weak alternator, battery drains, and other reasons. Probably a problem soldering inside the computer or failure.
When I tried to replace a air conditioner unit suddenly corrected the problem. Perhaps no relation to our eyes, but it happened.
