Good reason for the test and rather good news than no news.
My old Austin 1100 had the gearbox in the sump. When you drain the oil, you clean the metal filings off the magnet in the sump plug. I was waiting for the gearbox to run out of metal, but it never did. Wonder what Wearcheck would think of that oil
