Hi pierreandre,

That is good consumption! My fuel smell is still there after replacing the temp sensor. From what I could gather it did not really make a difference. I did reset the car by leaving the negative terminal off for a few hours. But I will only be able to tell when I finish this tank of petrol.

Can you recall what you paid for the TPS?

The TPS is quite expensive, I think around R750. I believe Marius Fourie (4epikanini) had some success by cleaning the TPS. Perhaps you should try that before replacing.

I didn't clean mine. I just adjusted/reset it according to the FSM.

Note : Mine was a 3.0 12valve V6 - with distributor.
