Ok, mech phoned me and the following: seems the 1st time he tried to start the Paj "thinking" the cam timing etc was in place, it was not!! bent valves etc head is now off to the engineering shop. Fortunately he does have a defective workmanship policy and will claim it from them. Will update as soon as the head is back. Cheers Pierre'

Bent valves often go with broken rockers and cams!
Make sure he has the complete valve train checked out.
