My mechanic suggests that!Herman 6609 wrote:Thanks,so I must use 500 ppm diesel?

It will work with your gearbox, I think, but the problem is the computer ECU and wiring harnass will have to be redone as well. Virtually impossible/Very Expensive. I am sure it is doable but I have not found evidence of one done. Maybe you can be the first?superairborne wrote:Herman 6609 wrote:On OLX someone had a 3.2 for 25 and it's the common rail if you are intrest
Thanks, Herman! Will the common rail engine work with the gearbox of my Gen3??
My Pajero's engine is stock standard. The only non-Mitsubishi thing on the engine is a K&N air filter element which I fitted 20,000km ago, and it is removed and replaced with the stock unit whenever I go off the tar.Lock wrote:Is your Pajero chipped or been "worked" on to boost performance?
There is hardly any chance of the standard engine going on such looooow mileage.
Are such a thing even available? I heard that one can get a complete sub-assembly from Mitsu for around R65000 which excludes the head. Not sure if this is true though.superairborne wrote:My Pajero's engine is stock standard. I will probably get a new engine from Japan at cost of R105,000!
The stealers don't sell complete engines. I'm bringuit in directly from Japan through a contact.CATS wrote:Are such a thing even available?
