I feel cheated... been off air for a week or so and a new Cat gets dragged in.

Cats, I'm really glad that you found a suitable replacement. Many happy miles and smiles. Make sure to mark the last weekend in September to come and show off the new beast in the Lowveld

Casper is actually from the Lowveld as it is the Nelspruit vehicle that you checked out on my behalf

Will definitely mark end September in the diary.

Congratulations CATS! Wishing you ONLY happy miles!

I have to say, the old Snoopster still looks the part.
If it was me, and the car was going fine on its own, I'd hang on to it, forget about towing and keep it as is to use in the rough stuff.
But then again, I'm renowned for not wanting to get rid of any of my vehicles...especially the classics.

Enjoy!

Hey well done CATS! Lovely car that ... congratulations!

I think I had a look at this car in Nelspruit a couple of months ago ( beige leather? ) but at the time the price was closer to R300k than the initial R200k number I had in my head. If it is the same car you got a beaut of a well kept car.

I eventually opted for the same vintage but higher mileage / more mods / lower price but still clean option. Will keep an eye out for you in Wierda Road in the mornings .... but there are quite a few white Gen 4's on that stretch in the morning. And after initially wanting to get a gold one I think white is by far the best colour for the Gen 4 (except maybe the very rare but stunning candy apple red).

Scubadude. Yes it is indeed that one from Nelspruit. The prive slowly got lower to a point where it just reached my budget and the mileage clinched the deal. I am not a fan of the beige leather but I must admit it makes the car feel a lot different to my old one, which is good. Time will tell how it handles my usage.

Cats, give us some details of the car. Mileage, price, history etc. I have the beige interior, its actually not so bad. Hope you can enjoy this one at least 20% as much as Snoopy
