Peter. The system shows it in your outbox untill the person that you have sent it too actually opens it. Only then will it go to your sent items. Little bit different to normal Outlook style.

PS - Thanks Roelf. Funny, on my Tapatalk I have 3 similar threads, wording slightly different but similar. I deleted the one with the least views and no replies. I will try and combine them and see what happens.
EDIT I have now merged the threads and as you can see at the start it was posted 3 times. Anyway, now at least it is all in one place.

PeterPot: Thanks for the message. Got it! Much appreciated!

I am posting this for incase someone else experiences the same issue in the future or if someone else has any other recommendations.

Update:
So the error code relates to general EGR fault. The vehicle was booked in with Mitsubishi Menlyn last week, and after "3 days" in the shop, and exploring all other possibilities, they followed up on my suggestion to check in the intake manifold for soot build-up. They said apparently already cleaned the unit, but the engine warning light still came on. They now recommend replacing the EGR unit since it is deemed faulty. They also want to do an induction service and monitor the airflow in the engine... or something like that. Total cost R12,300

After calling up Nico Hope on my brother's recommendation, Pajero Gen 3 owner, he advised that replacing the unit is not necessary if there is no loss in power. It will also not necessarily solve the engine light coming on. He further advises to plate/blank the intake off should there be power issues.

I have decided to go with Nico's recommendation and not go forward with replacing the EGR unit. The bill of doing the diagnostics at Mitsubishi Menlyn stands at R2,400... Bit of a bitter pill, but what can you do.

Hi guys, I have the same issue. Warning light comes on but no code given with diagnostic tool. Resetting makes the light go off, reappears 2 days later, go off for a day and then returns permanently. My guess is that there is a fault somewhere, the ECU automatically resets it once and when it pops up again it doesnt do another reset.

Last night my dash lights ( not warning lamps) all went dead. I am not sure if it is related. I opened the speedo box and found that the illunitation is done by a set of leds so I assume there a fault between Headlight Switch and Speedo box.

It is a 2010 Pajero Sport AT.

Any ideas?

Morning guys

Just a little update. I mentioned previously that the diagnostic tool I am using (Torque) is not showing any error codes. I upgraded to the Pro version and got a few codes but when I do the web lookup it refers to other vehicle manufacturer codes.

The descriptions relate to the power train of a Saab or electronics on a Mazda BT50. I will take it to John Williams in Bloemfontein to ask if they can assist. Apparently the OBD for Mitshubishi uses a different protocol so before I go insane I might be better off to get their opinion.

I will keep you updated.
