Hi.
Just an update with regards to my welded manifolds.
Last weekend past I took a test drive from CT to Piketberg, Elands bay, Lamberts and around Paternoster. I covered a few kilometers on gravel. The following morning I cranck the engine and the manifold ghost were back (leaking) again.

I took the vehicle back to Powerflow in Belville. Again I requested branches to be fitted but Roddy just refuse to fit them on my car and I do not know why?
Nonetheless, my vehicle stayed at powerflow for 3 days, they welded the new crack. This morning I took collection of the vehicle at no labour charge, only R600 for 2 x sets manifold gaskets.

@ Cloyd I think you are so right. Cast Manifolds is not an easy task to do. And I think you right, they won't last long when welded.

@ Ecomas 1 I do not know if yours has been welded yet.
Please update on the cost and outcome all info from the Technician is appreciated.

In the meanwhile I will monitor the situation with my old new manifolds :P and keep the forum updated should
Im itching for an upgrade, but I cannot get rid of the addiction for this box shape v6 :D

Any updates for the manifold, I would like to know why the branches is not a good idea as this is the route I want to go since the manifolds are all cracked and welding cast iron never turns out good
