Re: Rear Brake pads replacement on GLX 2005
HI CATS,
Thanks for info
Would you recomend the Powerbrake front disk/pads over the standard Pajero set?
Are there pads interchangeable?

I am currently sitting with this same option that I need to follow, buy mits or buy powerbrake. Powerbrake seem superior from all the feedback that I have thus recieved but I have no first hand experience. As the caliper still remain the same one could fit any standard pads according to them, but obviously they do not recomend it as they say that one will loose the added benefit of the matched pad and disk. Still at R2627.70 delivered(disks and pads) to me against about R700 for just the pads from Mitsu is big!. Pad cost from there on is about the same between Mits and Powerbrake, but they reckon theirs will outlast the Mitsu one. I have a nigling shudder on braking lately so I am considering replacing the disks, but am still rolling my coins in my pocket at this stage

Re: Rear Brake pads replacement on GLX 2005
So I ended up fitting Ferrodo pads at the back, and Wagner (Federal Mogul) in front. Had it done at Autoquip and the bill with tyre rotation, balancing and wheel alignment was close on R 2K :( :( .

It's been a week now and they compare very well with the OME stuff I had on before.

Will post feedback if anything changes.
