Hi Wally
I decided to fit a MadMan EMS2 device, which is made by an avionics company in Somerset west, to my Pajero as it fitted all the criteria I wanted to monitor on my Gen 3. I did not fit the EGT monitor as I have a 3.5 V6 motor, however it would be highly recommended if you drive a diesel.
Madmad has a website (http://www.madman.co.za) and they courier the unit country wide (they also have a “Pajero” package with all the bits and bobs you might need to fit it). If you have a bit of technological knowhow (or a good friend who does) you could fit it yourself over a day or two on the weekend – alternatively you could get an auto electrician to fit it. You can see in my previous post how I fitted my unit, it gives me much peace of mind as I can constantly see what is happening in and on my beloved Pajero!
Good luck
