Hi
Just a word of caution. I got a quote from Malcolm for my previous Paj to fit a new side shaft seal and he was more expensive than Mitsubishi P/Eiland

Can anyone recommend a workshop in KZN? I have had bad experiences with private shops and have ended up taking my Gen 2 to the agents.

Lovely car - you should join us to
DAMON 4x4 in Worcester on Saturday and show her off!
Ask Theunis at Stellenberg Motors about the cost, but be prepared for around R 3500 to replace the cambelt.
He will give you a much more accurate estimate, though.
Please let us know what it cost. It will help us to prepare for the same damage!

Anton
Good Morning
I found out that my Pajero had a engin rebuild on 170 000km (started to use oil). So my 200 000km service was a normal 30 000km service.
I went to Mitsubishi in Somerset West and they quoted me R3700 for a normal oil and filter service.
Someone refer me to Willem de Kock Motors in Strand Main Road. That service was only R1540 and its exactly the same as Mitsubishi (Mitsubishi labour = R1900; Willem = R450).
Im very satisfied with the service. Car was washed, interior, exterior and engin. They also done a bumper to bumper check.
Well Done Willem de Kock!

HIYA!
Had my Gen4's 90,000km service done at Mitspro. The guys were friendly even thogh they are under immense pressure due to an obvious enormous workload. The service seems to have been a success since the car feels, sounds and performs like new.
Also got some advice and a contact for a persistant and irritating loud whining noise that only appears whenever a dealer or mechanic is not present!
Can definately recommend Freek and seun for servicing! Price was less than 40% of dealer quote

.
Cheers,
G
