My Pajero is running fine...over-heating etc all sorted.....just some final details....like the stray, disconnected wires and non-functioning dash lights, alternator etc.
I can't find the oil pressure sender unit on the engine now! Any tips as to where I should look on this 4M40 engine?
All suggestions welcome thank you! (and no....I don't have a hand book or qualified Pajero mechanic here!)

have you found the oil pressure switch?
its in the front. right hand side when you are looking at the engine. just below the 3 water sensors. to remove it you have to remove the water sensors piece and then you can freely access the oil sender switch. you will need a long reach 12 for the hidden bolt and then to remove the switch itself is a 27 or 24 key.
done so many of them that i can now do it with my eyes closed

Thanks so much! I installed a new alternator and that solved many problems.....I now have proper charging and readings on the dash instruments....I found and replaced the oil switch (and located the wires for heat and oil)
The new alternator included a complex vacuum unit....my engine has its own vacuum system so I removed the unit from the alternator.....its brand new....does any one want it?
The problem with the Turbo system is sorted.....again....just a couple of loose / broken wire connections caused during engine removal....turbo is going like a boeing....literally!
As many of you advised....registering my Swazi imported vehicle is NOT possible....no how....no way.... specially with new laws and having no papers for the vehicle at all.....just and old Swazi licence disc. I now acknowledge all I can do is take a chance not getting caught......and sell the vehicle as scrap when I need to! (offers welcome!)
