Are they harder than the stock coils? Looks like I'll be towing a friend's miskruier through the Kgalagadi in August... Thinking of getting air helpers since I only tow on the odd occasion.

Hi,

I got 35mm lift in the rear after installing my rear airbags for towing as well on my Gen3, I bought a used set of airbags which have the spacer from a longer coil install, trimmed that off and LA Sport installed, wasn't expecting a lift from that but there it was a nice level Paj, which can take a good load on the rear.

Now lekker towing my trailer for overlanding, and that helps a lot keeping the rear nice and high, it still drops when loaded but only about 30mm in total which is much better, before I could look onto the roof from the rear door when all loaded up, not any more

Is the lift a must? I already have have 50mm from spacers...

I haven't driven it a lot but the time I did drive it the car felt the same as before. The progressive part (unladen) is apparently the same as the std coils but when you start adding a load then they come into their own.
