Anyone figured out how to show the selected gear on the autobox ?

I see some references on web so pretty sure it can be done but travelling so bit limited in my web access

I am also eager to know, plus any additional sensor pids that can be set up in Torque. It will be great if we could share obd results in some or other meaningful way (including variables such as ambient temps, towing weight, speed etc)
My coolant temp stays around 90 C, but I find the pid formula for the auto box indicates around 85 C, climbing to 95 C on steeper inclines. I think the pid may be wrong (should maybe be f-40 instead of f-50)...

Have you guys managed to do a screenshot? There is a button for that on Torque but I cant seem to get mine to work, or I just dont know where to find the file. If one could easily do a screenshot and share that will make it so much easier.

Cats, attached are 2 screenshots for the auto box temp - the one I think overstates the gearbox temp.

As per above posts - we are also looking for a pid which will show which gear is currently selected in the auto box.

What cant you get to work in Torque ?

My pid is on the f50 setting as posted earlier by myself and it seems to be working 100%. Ussualy box is about 20degC cooler than engine but working hard and towing definately increase the gearbox temp, so I think mine is working fine. I have not seen any setting to see gear selected.

How do you do screenshot? If I use the screenshot button in Torque it says captured and saved but I cant seem to find the file anywhere?

On android phone press and hold together the power- and volume-down buttons, or if your device has a home button instead try power and home ...it should be filed under device storage/pictures/screenshot or something similar.

OK. That works, but why does the onboard screenshot shortcut button on the Torque app not work? I have an LG G4 phone and the power and volume buttons are on the back which make it a nuisance to use when mounted.

Hi guys, I'm interested in getting this for my 2004 3.2 DiD but I'm not sure if the ELM327 will work on my Paj? Also, which is the best software to use. I was also considering installing an Android based car radio system so I should be able to load the app on that? Your thoughts and opinions are welcome.

Your 2004 3.2Diesel gen3 Pajero is not OBDII compliant as far as I know, unfortunately.
