G3PajV6, Where did you get the vinyl from and what did it cost?
Topped up fuel tank, engine oil & coolant and growled down to Swinburne and back over the weekend with a little 4x4 low range driving up a mountain at Swinburne.
The Racers Edge , Bought the cheap stuff R30 a meter , I bought 10m. China import with name Catpiano. did the tailgate. The sheet I had was to small and I had to cut the vinyl. Will do the rest to the top and will have a join line inline with the back window where it stops at the moment. Not what I wanted but I am not going to redo this. I removed the bracket for the spare wheel and spray painted the bracket matt black did the same for the plastic holding the number plate. Looks ok. I will finish this and do the entire car with vinyl. Will do a panel a day.Spikv wrote:G3PajV6, Where did you get the vinyl from and what did it cost?

Are you not worried that the cheap stuff will start peeling sooner rather than later? Got a price from RMT for R90 for a 1m x 1.5m piece. R30 sounds better because ill have to practice a couple times I'm sure. Is the stuff you got just 1m wide?
I took 10m for R300 not sure what the width is they cut the length you want , yes they have another role that is wider that you can use for the tailgate and roof that is R150 per m. They cut the length you want.
I took the cheap R30 stuff and joined the two.
I don't think it will peel a co-worker had it on his new Ford ST for 2 years now without any problem. it depends on the application.

Had side "impact bars" fitted on my Pajero by Noise Boys in Kathu.

Those bars look nice and mean. Do you have some plans to get them manufactured? And what are the costs on these?
