I have started to do something about the holes from where the plastics were. Tell me what you guys think.
@allandell,

Each to his own - but not my cup of tea, sorry. Why did you remove the tupperware?

Home made rocksliders added, left side to be completed this weekend. Im happy with the result, very neat and discreet. The actual slider is a 75/50/3.5 tube right under the chassis at about the same height as the diesel tank protector and the round tube is 50x3.0 just to protect the bodywork on side slopes etc. Also useful for standing on to get access to the roof when the roofrack is on.

Andrew.ashton I had bought the car with no tupperware and so I bought second hand tupperware and started to install and was pretty much done in one side then I ran out of clips. So I went on a trip to Lesotho like that but landed up pulling one off in the bush there (rivers and rocks etc) so decided I don't want to continually worry about the plastics so decided they no good.
I actually got this idea from the defender which is assembled by rivits. It closes the holes and gives it a bit of character for now till I get money to have the holes closed professionally and rock sliders made to my style I want but a snorkel is more important to me due to all the dust roads I am always on and needing a little better wading depth as air intake is at the front of the bonnet, I am very scared to get the nose under water at all even from the bow wave

Looks very neat - not going to add high lift points?

I don't own one so why would I need it? And besides, the Paj won't get stuck [WINKING FACE]. Also not sure they are strong enough, to be honest.

That is what I was thinking. Decent rock sliders need to have enough strength to hold the weight of the car loaded

The slider part is definitely strong enough to hold 3x the weight of the car at a point midway between the brackets. I calculated the flex to be less than 5mm (I'm an engineer). The tubes on the outside are more cosmetic and the slider part is too far under the car for a hi-lift jack to reach.

I should get you to help me build mine. That looks decent but I want a different finish to be visible
