I would like it if you'll bring a gel sticker along for me...

The shirts looks good, I will take one if you bring.
Re: Cape Town members - GTG 21 March 2012
There's some protest action in Grabouw this morning. N2 closed as protestors apparently rolled rocks in the road and were stoning cars. Will hopefully be cleared up soon, but if it continues tomorrow I propose we rather meet at the Engen one-stop on the N2 just before Somerset West.

Will see what the situation looks like tomorrow and make final call then.

They normally do not like to work on public holidays but if they persist I will be driving via Franschhoek Pass and the Van der Stel Pass.

Will decide tomorrow evening. If so I will meet you at the trail.

Re: Cape Town members - GTG 21 March 2012
So, are we moving the meeting point to the Engen or what? As Jaco is also running with this I suggest he posts his cell number and we must let him know who's late/missing.

Myself and Johann can't be the only ones with radios so please say whether you have a 29 or VHF or not. We have a big convoy something that can be difficult to manage without radios.

Also make sure you bring your recovery kit along. Pack your sense of humor on top of it :)

As I said before I'll bring some clobber along (caps, golf shirts, badges - sadly no stickers). Prices are on the web site so bring appropriate cash. I have 3 spare wheel covers as well but let me know now so I can bring the correct size if I have.

I'll be on Channel 15, will be travelling via Somerset West and lookout for any Pajeros along the way. Got home yesterday to find Swambo cleaning the car and packing recovery kit, pump , ect. I think my exitement has rubbed off... :D

My number is zero 8 two 4 one 5 nine 3 five 6

Things seem to be quieting down, so unless there are any more reports of flareups during the day we keep it at Grabouw.

My cell no is zero seven three one eight triple 7 double 8

Those without radio's will just have to shout.

Very funny. Same age as myself.

At our age, everybody we know has kids and if the kids are happy then the parents are happy. ;)

Simon, you can hold onto that trophy. My first post mentioned SWAMBO's birthday, so I think I'm safe for now. :D

OK so the N2 is clear so far. Just been informed that it is OK to travel that route. Leaving home a little later than Archille and Aslam but will make a slow drive past the filling station outside Somerset West.

See you guys at Peregrine :D

PS: I just checked the beers, nice and cold

I believe we have some holes to dig so the difflock brigade can have a challenge the end off the month.
