Thank you for reading John and glad you enjoy. Will keep posting till my baby is completed. Going to build the engine then put aside for a while. Still contemplating if I should remove the body from the chassis and do a body lift. Been watching too much TV with these 7 day makeovers. LOL :ugeek:

I am also thinking that this route will put strain on the budget as I would like to have the vehicle ready for the December holidays.

Going to have to manage very carefully.

Personally not a big fan of body lifts. Just make the vehicle top heavy and unstable.

Palexus I had thought of that. Will read up more on the pro's and con's.

I am still not sure if the vehicle has not already had a suspension lift. A lot of modifications are found on the vehicle. Rear air suspension, long range fuel tank, duel battery and whatever else I might discover along the way.

Fantastic work so far. I love a build where no detail is spared. Keep it up. I'm hooked. That engine looks fantastic!

Thank you to all for the kind words. Did not do anything this weekend.

Will assemble the engine on Wednesday. Need to get the gasket sealers and the flywheel seal then all should be good to go.

The assembly of the crank case has begun. Pistons and conrods are assembled and in the block. Crank is in and the upper and lower casings are together and torqued. Will get some pix together the explain the process so far when i get a chance.... Hmmm.... could do a big post on the engine rebuild... Might be better to break it up into three or for parts. Bottom end assembly, top end assembly, timing, and installing the accessories.

A stall on updating I am afraid. Just a few issues my side  But I am trying to include the finance for the ARB suspension and fancy bits along with a jurgens XT140 full house trailer.
