Re: My 3.0 V6 Pajero rebuild
I have done 60km so far and got time to step out of it and take a video. I didn't film myself as my smile is still too wide!

Re: My 3.0 V6 Pajero rebuild
I have a pulley squeel ( very intermittent ) and the only one it could be is this one as it still squeels with A/C belt and PS pump belt removed.

Do I need to buy it as a whole or can I have a bearing pressed in?

Thanks

removed that pulley assembly and when I spun it, it felt really solid and smooth so I thought "it can't be this"

I cleaned everything and re-assembled with a bit of penetrating oil on the pulley bearing and by the alternator.

Everything is quiet as a kitten purring now

So let's see how it goes.

Anybody know where the rear door switch is ( that triggers the door-open light )

Any bright ideas to get this circlip off? I can't get my circlip pliers into that small gap.

Re: My 3.0 V6 Pajero rebuild
pulled the radiator today as I need to get the bottom spout re-aligned. The previous shop that re-cored didn't put it where it was so now the bottom hose has a kink in it and I don't like that. It probably restricts flow and I don't want a brand new engine overheating for the trail on 5 December.
