Hi All
My fuel gauge seems to be stuck. I filled her up and ran her to just about empty, then filled up again, and from there she does not drop below 1/4 tank, sadly I found this out after running out of fuel.

.
filled up again and again. is there something I can add that might loosen it up, or how big a job is this to replace...

Andre
Seeing what you did to your Paj last weekend

you may have dented the tank. in such a case your capacity you can fill will be lessened and your gauge be reading inaccuratly.
It might be a mission to check though. I think most models have a steel tank which is "encased" by a plastic covering. You wont see the steel dent
If you keep proper records, you should be seeing that you are filling it up less than before

Hi Kai
You might be right(I thought that I am doing about 50km or so less on the tank), but this was after the Standerton trip...Which makes more sense as I definitely did not hurt her this weekend.
So that then means I have to get the dent removed?? Great!! now to get someone that won't screw it up!!
Any suggestions?? East Rand....

Easy....
Step 1:
Empty tank
Step 2:
Faga match and close ears
Step 3:
Fill her up
Nope, sorry. I wouldn't doubt that my suggestion will expand your tenk a bit, but, to do it without the probability of cheesing of your neighbors, having bomb squad arrive at your house, never mind Swambo divorcing you I dont know of anyone who does it "professionally"
Sorry, had to have a laugh

this could actually be a lot of fun during our world cup. Especially since I'm in jet park, so close to the airport....
