Found the follwoing and would like to know if someone know anything about it? What the pros and cons will be to install something like this?

My brothers both have them on their Di-D engines.

Although it can't do more than what good driving style does, it is a safety feature worth considering.

Thanks, what woul dthe recommendation be between this one and a turbo timer? For me I would go for this product, then I know the engine will switch off

Turbo timer kills the engine a (set) time after you kill the ignition, and keeps it idling for that time.

I understand that it is illegal to leave the engine running when you leave the car, so (for the turbo timer set up) you have to sit in the car and wait for the engine to switch off. Duh!

The TurboProtect system stores oil under pressure in a tank. When the engine is switched off, this oil is released at a slow rate through the turbo's bearings / seals.

I think it is a better system than the timer.
