To all the gurus out there,

Gen II Pajero 3.5GLS

The copper pipe that connects the injection system and the manifold has been "blowing" and a new one from the Stealers are R1040.00

I have heard that one can eliminate the pipe and BLANK off the two openings without any undue problems.

This be true???

south africans are not bound by the strict emissions standards, so if your warranty doesn't get voided then i would recommend blanking it off.

I merely just took off the pipe and had it cut and crimped and put it back on - i don't know if this will create an error with your ecu though.
