Loose Cable

Hi,
I removed the plastic cover on my 3.2 DiD, and I noticed this cable near the front that is not connected... any idea what it is?

Shot in the dark: Maybe the plug for the diagnostic computer (for service agent)?

I think the diagnostics plug is under the steering wheel....
Anyone else have any ideas what it is
used for?

It is the cable and the connection for the air heater for the Pajero Cold Zone Type.
