Hi everyone. We're in Kruger National Park at the moment (Punda Maria) and enjoying it very much. The Shorty has been FANTASTIC, returning 10,2 l/100Km on the way up here. Interestingly, in the park, sticking to their 50kmh speed limit (yay cruise control) we've done just on 500km and the fuel gauge has just got to half a tank left! There other thing that is really great is the size of the windows, enabling one to "swing" long lenses around with ease.

We are writing up the trip on our blog if anyone is interested: http://africaimagery.com/blog/

Enjoy!! You make mention of the cruise control helping you stick to 50km/h. Thats interesting to me as my cruise control(IIRC) only works from 60km/h and upwards(2001-3.2Diesel LWB, manual)?

Take good pics 8-)

Cats. Hi. Mine seems to work from about 45kmh. And it's a 2006 (although M&F insist that it's a 2007 model) swb DiD auto

Judging by the number of awesome places you keep on photographing it will be an empty tjoekie with a lot of "get out of jail free" cards roaming around

Hehe:):):)

I was in the Kruger two weeks back too ;)

Fuel consumption was around 11......

P.S. Coming to CT, how about I get you away from your desk, you poor soul, and I can show you pics of what we saw in the park over a COLD one (or two)
