I reply in English for the benefit of our members abroad.
Firstly: Do you keep your car serviced? Your "flat spot" problem seems to point to incorrect timing.
Secondly: you may have a dead plug? If you have platinum tip plugs, you tend to forget about them, and when they fail, they do it proporly.
Thirdly: Overheating is critical. You have to check your oil level, coolant level. Check for water in oil (milky), and have your thermostat checked. Overheating will kill your motor - do not wait, fix it now.
Forthly: the smell of exhaust gas could mean many things - if it smells like unburnt fuel, it could be the plug(s) and timing. If it smells like burnt oil, your rings may be on the way out or valve stem seals may be brittle and need replacing.
QUESTIONS:
1. How many km on the engine?
2. How much oil does she use?
3. Does she use coolant (do you have to fill it up from time to time?)
Maybe you will get more help if you reply to these questions, as they will indicate to some possible reasons...

Anton
