What is the going rate for Cam belt replacement service on a 3.5 V6,
I am told that if I replace the cam belt, theres a lot of pulleys that need to be replaced as well.
my Cam belt alone costs in excess of R1700 if I remember correctly.

I paid + - 6 months ago about +- Rond 9000 but that included new cam belt,tensioner,new lifters (24), all body fluids,new pads all round,new secondary belts ,power steering,air-con and alternator plus new idler pulleys,this thing is so quite that people just don't hear it in the car parks following them looking for a space.

Way to go making me feel better about getting my cam belt done

Just kidding, I knew I'd need to take out a second bond out for this, just wasnt shure if it would be for a flat or a small holding.

Malcolm is busy getting costs to quote me on this.
