The latest DID, 3.2 in Australia developes 141KW and it aparently has only been fitted with a chip which they remove(the same goes for the bakkie) when they ship them to SA
Does any one has further info as to the type, make etc of these chips and if it can be ordered from Aus(After the 3nations !)?

I have a 2007 Pajero 3.2DiD GLS with the standard 121kw/373nm enjin and installed a chip I have imported from Germany (after I found the local chips are very expensive). Racechip spec a 164kw/437nm with there Racechip Pro. Haven`t had the vehicle on a dyno but I can promise you an unbelieveble performance, with lots of power on tap and with better fuel consumption. With import duties, around R3500.oo and you can install it yourself, it works downstream from the enjin management system. South Africa won`t get the enjin with the higher kilowatts in near future, it is designated for EU and Aus, they have to test it first to see if it is Africa proof..

My pleasure, if you buy, it`s very easy to install. Have tried a higher setting for more power but found the preset more economical.

Thanks for info
People in Germany cannot supply a chip as the 2005 as it does not have the commonrail of the 2007
My only alternative would be SAC !
Any other sugeston would be appreciated
