I have the same thing every morning. After start up I travel the same set route for about 3.5km in +/-5min at which point I hit a gentle long climb. The oil level light then comes on for about 10-20 seconds, but as soon as I reach the top it dies down again. Hereafter it does not come on again, even when climbing steeper hills.
It happens every morning at the exact same spot & time. My oil level is on the dot on the dip stick. What can causes this?

Mine doesn't do it - I use delo 400 and overfill by 400ml.

I run on Mobil Delvac MX - your dad's recommendation. Delo 400 is not readily available around here. I put up a scene at the dealers a few times because they overfilled the oil.
One thing bothers me: Do the marks on the dipstick give a true representation of the real oil level? In other words, if the length of the dipstick is correct. It might show the oil level is correct when in fact there is not enough or too much oil.

Dipsticks look the same size and type as far as I can see. Just thought of something else: the dipstick sheath determines how deep the stick will go into the sump.
I will drain the oil at the next service, exactly measure the amount of oil needed and see where the mark on the dipstick is.
