Easter Weekend Trip

Hi All,
I had a visit to Serendipity in Nylstroom this past weekend. I do not know who has been there lately but found it reasonably acceptable as this was was the first time I did a off road thingh. There was some really bad spots to drive through and I would assume it was all due to the latest heavy rains. What I did enjoy though is the power of the 3.5 especially in LLC mode and sometimes in diff-lock as well. A familly member also had a Pajero but a 96 model with no diff lock and found it somewhat challenging in some places.
I opted not to go on the Extreme course as I was told it was mainly for built up vehicles with serious suspension mods.
I also choose not to venture in the deep water sections as I do not have a snorkel and I think to drive through water even with a snorkel does ensure later maintenance issues. If the situation warrants swimming I will do it but for now will skip that part.
My only criticism though is the noise the quads and bikes make no matter what camp you are in and the loud noises by some visitors untill late at night with no manager or supervision to quiet them down.
I will defenitely do something like this again in the next near future to hone skills.
Photo's to follow.
My average fuel consumption was 5.6 km/l including the off road part (about 50 km all in all) and pulling a Conqueror Commander Caravan loaded with all the stuff and tools. I do not know whether this consumtion is bad
or good.
Kind Regards
