Hi I'm trying to fit a 29 MHz radio to my Gen 2.5 but I can find a good place to attach the antenna I wanted to mount the antenna on the RR pillar after the back sliding window .
what do you guys think and if you have pics of where you mounted your please post it .
it will help me allot

Mine is fitted drivers side fender, exactly opposite the radio antenna. For reception purposes where you were thinking of is slightly better but a more difficult install because of the rear aircon unit. I have never felt I should have mounted mine anywhere else due to poor reception. If anything it is more convenient because I can tuck the end of my antenna into the roofrack when going into parking garages
