Hi

I recently had some cambelt issues. As a result I now need a new cambelt plastic cover (not sure if that is the correct term) for a 1999 3.5 v6 SWB Pajero. My mechanic is struggling to find one, since it seems Mitsibushi doesn't keep them in stock. So, as it stands we need to import one from Japan - 6 weeks wait.

Does anybody know where I can locally find a cover. Have trawled through about 6 scrapyards in Pretoria without any luck.

You might try Mitspro in Centurion Freek tel: 0126442888 or try that Mitsu scrap yard on the Moloto raod.
Quick directions : from Zambezi out to moloto- on moloto road +- 7k's on right spar turn right and immediately turn right again on gravel road for about 2k's till you find the place. Please forgive me if directions are kokaai a bit I know how to get there but can not identify all signs here. But be aware their prices are sometimes not far from dealer prices but they might be able to help you.
