lots on the net

basically

extra lube is debatable
injector cleaning is debatable

The fact that we use it, is that it definitely lowers EGT and it also burns away carbon deposits in piston and exhaust components (valves, exhaust manifold, turbo passages etc)

some claim that it smoothes the engine as well.

This is my Di-D on cold start running on 2SO

Its Benoni, CHOP :P (term of endearment here)

And if you were driving to slow through our neck of the woods, we'd have stolen ALL your wheels

I’ve had a rough start-up problem on my 2004 DID until recently. Read all about it in the following thread:

https://www.pajeroclub.co.za/forum/view ... =24&t=1954

On a recent trip to Margate and back, some 2000 KM of 120 kph highway speed, I decided to experiment with 2SO. Previously I have not been convinced of any benefit in using 2SO. Need I say more? Well after this trip my car is running like I expected it to do and I am satisfied that it is worth using 2SO, its only an extra R8 per tank. I now buy 5l cans and fill-up all the little bottles I have purchased at the Sasol garages before. So I carry my own supply of stock. I am convinced it can help certain conditions resolve itself. It did for me.
Thank you 4E’s and others for pushing this point home for me.
