Cold temp diesel gelling additive?

I'm going up to Rhodes in a couple week's time.
My antifreeze is up to par but I'm looking for an additive to stop my diesel from gelling.
The local spares shops don't keep stock (presumably because it never gets below freezing in East London).
Any ideas? I don't like the idea of adding petrol/parrafin to my diesel.

I'm looking into the same. Off to Lesotho skiing in a few weeks time. I doubt that it will go under -10°C, but with my luck it will. Friends went a few weeks back and they were told to run their cars at least 4/5 times a day!!! I dont know what that is supposed to do, but anyways.
I know the guys on the poles use some sort of diesel (antifreez) additive... Havent found one yet

I'm looking as well - heading out to Sani soon... seems like nothing available off the shelf.

Although I have not used this particular product it seems like it's the right 'muti' for your diesel...

When I have done cold weather trips into Lesotho I have always filled up in Underburg or Himeville (just below Sani Pass) as I have always thought that the diesel sold in those cold climates must already have some anti-gel additive from the pump. I have been down to about -10 degrees without too much problem apart from sluggish, smoky start and a reluctance to rev for a while. A friend who hadn't filled up at the local pumps experienced a few more problems but his vehicle was also quite long in the tooth.
Let us know what you use and how it works.
