The hardest part of the trip was getting a log out of the causeway on the way home.
Just pictures. Nothing out of the ordinary to tell besides that it's sad to see the damage the snow has done to the trees in Hogsback.

Must have been a good experience.

Mine doesn't have stabilty control but ABS kicked in on a couple of stops.JonnyD wrote:Must have been a good experience.

I asked dad the same question and he said he put the ESP off as the conditions weren't that bad and the interference made him feel uncomfortable.
I'm sure he'll share his feelings shortly.
It was a great trip, albeit a bit hurried (to get back for Marius' staff responsibilities).
The gravel road down the mountain from Hogsback, past Sandile & Gubu dams was good too, showing the Pajero and Touareg's gravel road ability.
I switch ESP off. I don't like the jerking when it kicks in. I am comfortable on gravel roads, so I prefer it off.

I noticed the damage to trees as well ...4ePikanini wrote:that it's sad to see the damage the snow has done to the trees in Hogsback.
.... but I noticed that 99% of the trees which were damaged by the snow were foreign invaders such as wattle and blue gum.
Maybe we should leave nature to sort out these invaders!
