Hi Guys,

I plan to remove my injectors on my 97' V6 3000 since I am about to do the valve stem seals. As mentioned in the "3.2 DI-D Valve Stem Seal" post, the tips are serviceable. Once removed - what is a good indication if the injectors are shot or not - and are they serviceable by myself?

Or should a test be conducted by a workshop

Hi Jaco,

The only way to be sure about the condition of the injectors (including the tips) is to have them tested at a reputable workshop that is propperly equiped to do the tests an replacements if needed.
