Would anyone know whether the dipstick pipe on a Gen 2 3.0L V6 12v is threaded into the block or just a push fit?

Just a push fit with an o-ring - part number MD075834

I had to check. I didn't touch the dipstick on my build.

Interesting screen shot you have there, is that a Mitsubishi parts catelogue on pc?

Is it readily available from somewhere as a download or was it from a mate of a mate of a mate who works at Mitsubishi? etc etc

I searched long and hard. It's the program dealers use for parts.
