Oxygen Sensor / Lambda on 1994 V6 12v?

Does anyone know if the 3.0L V6 12v (1994) came fitted with an oxygen sensor / lambda on the exhaust downpipe before the CAT?
Mine was fitted with a Cowley system and was wondering whether its been tucked away somewhere and is not guzzling more fuel than necessary? or was it never installed on the 12v models?
I've read the Haynes manual but that seems to refer more to the 6G74 motor rather than the 6G72?

my 1993 3.0 V6 12v didn't have a CAT or Lambda sensor.

Mine had both, sensor was fitted in the CAT. When had free flow fitted and CAT removed sensor was fitted into xhaust pipe.

I know mine HAD a CAT which makes me think the sensor may be tucked away somewhere and needs refitting

Jap import models have a CAT and the sensor in the CAT and the sensor self-adjusts.

"Local" models do not have a CAT and the sensor sits near your air-flow meter, a bubble little box looking like thing which is manually adjustable.
