Blanking EGR on 3.0 V6 12v ?

Morning All,

I'm hoping you can help with an EGR question on my '94 12v 3.0 V6.

I read all the forums about blanking them off but they all seem to talk about Diesel models.

Has anyone blanked their EGR on a Gen2 / Gen2.5 Petrol engine?

Would you know if you blank the EGR Temp Sensor/ Valve on the Plenum AND the EGR pipe from the manifold to the block?

surely the vacuum hoses would need to be blocked too or do these just become redundant?

i just blanked the pipe. You can just make out on this old pic of mine

did you notice any difference in power / fuel economy after blanking the pipe?

i did it as part of a complete rebuild (bought the car with a scrap engine) so can't comment. sorry
