Hi Chris
Sad to hear of your continuing troubles
. If you did not drive the car with it overheating for a long distance, but stopped as it happened, you should be fine. Add the clamp, check EVERYTHING else to make sure it is tightly screwed on, tightened etc.
You can check the oil and radiator water fr signs of damage (water in oil or oil in water respectively).
You are welcome to bring the car to me for a pre-holiday check - just some new set of eyes to have a look.
Hope you get this sorted quick.
Cheers
Johann

Hi Jotto,
Thanks for the advice. To say the least I did not want to touch anything at that point for the reason I feel the car has just got out a workshop and the repairer should repair damage. I am just frustarted at the events up now and things are just not happeneing like they should. But Mr. Nice guy play is now over. It is time to take them on full blast.
Will keep in touch.
