Pajero 3.5 gdi - SADC Owners

Signed up a couple of days ago and already spent some good hours reading priceless (NO B/SH!)information posted on this forum.
My intention is to open this new tread for an apparently disadvantaged category of Pajero owners: 2002 - 2006 3.5 GDI and I have the feeling that most of us are based in Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia etc.
3.5 GDI has got a bad reputation related to fuel quality that cause fatal engine damages.
But,
I guess few people know Mitsubishi Corporation has addressed the issue and starting with December 2001 they have changed some materials on fueling system and introduced them into production immediately. So, at least those with 2002 and up models should have this issue minimized. Also the 2001 and down owners can have a chance to fix the problem and swap to the new materials.
Last night I found this document posted some time ago.
Brian, I hope you don't mind refreshing this information for the interested owners of this forum. P.S. My native language is not English and I apologize in advance for possible topic and grammar errors.
